How it works
EVMirror simulates electric cars driving around Paris and charging at its public stations, then shows what your new station would change. Here is how, in four steps.
Electric cars go about their day
We simulate the 99,126 electric cars of Paris and its inner suburbs (plug-in hybrids included), travelling between home, work, errands and evenings out.
Drivers choose where to charge
When they park, drivers may charge at a nearby public station if a charge point is free. How they choose is tuned on real charging station data, so they behave like real drivers.
You add your station
We run the same simulation again, this time with your station added. Same cars, same days, so any difference comes from your station.
You see what changes
How many drivers charge at your station, how busy it gets hour by hour, how nearby stations are affected, and how many more drivers find a charge point.

It will explain in more detail how the simulation works.
